PROTECT YOUR TROPHIES
With
Miller Trophy Room
Preservation & Restoration
ARE
YOUR TROPHIES
DISEASED ?
Are they Potential Targets for becoming endangered species ?
Our solution is PERMANENT
Our process protects your mounts for
the FUTURE. Not just a couple of years !
Problem
Microscopic insects which destroy the hide, hair and horns of mounted animals and tanned skins are now major problems that can no longer be ignored.
Symptoms
Hair
loss; sawdust-looking material around the hoofs, horns and feet; small, light
brown fragments anywhere on the mount, on carpet, floor covering, or furniture
beneath the mount. Insects (dermestids) that destroy the hair, hide, and horns.
If you notice some resembling small rice crispies around the horns, you already
have a problem.
Reason
Due to State and Federal guidelines; tanneries can longer use arsenic or other residual chemicals in their tanning process. Therefore, your mounts now have no protection from these destructive insects. Regardless of how great the quality of taxidermy, all mounts are potential targets. Your taxidermist has no control over this nor does he or an exterminator have the knowledge or equipment to handle the problem. Each year, thousands of mounts are needlessly destroyed by insect damage.
Solution
We
are pleased to let you know there
is a solution to resolve this problem in your trophies. Through many years of
trial and error, we have perfected the remedy to give every mount we process
complete and individual protection.
Each piece is an original with memories of your hunt that cant be replaced. We go through each mount by injecting only state of the art and completely safe materials, which will in no way effect the life of your tanned skin, and will ensure your mounts against any future insect damage.
There
are additional procedure we use so your mount will look better including
touch-ups and cleaning, and any specialized attention needed. The end result is
that each mount will be thoroughly protected against loss. This process takes an
enormous amount of time, thought and talent; but think of how much you already
have invested in terms of time, money and effort. The use of fumigants or gasses
provides no residual life and surface spraying does not provide adequate
penetration. This is why the Miller technique is a must, if complete protection
is desired.

Experience
To the best of our knowledge, we are the only company devoted exclusively to preserving mounted animals. Without proper use of correct procedures there will be hair discoloration, drumming, slipping and possible trophy loss. We have treated everything from squirrels to elephants; in a wide range from small to large trophy rooms and tanneries. We have successfully preserved in excess of 50,000 trophies. Our work comes with a warranty.
Travel
We
can protect your trophies for fees shown on the price chart, plus travel and
lodging expenses. Due to our unique technique in preserving your mounts we must
protect them on-site. Prices may vary depending on the extent of damage to
mounts and time required to restore mounts to original condition.
Once you have contacted us, and we have discussed your needs, a price
quote can be given. Minimum travel expense is 10% of the trophy price. There are
no hidden costs. We conduct business in an up-front manner as our references can
attest.
References
There is much more to the correct solution than one might think, which our references will tell you. Please see the available reference letters found on this site. We will gladly furnish additional references if required. We have spent over one quarter of a century solving and resolving this problem.
