Turkey is a magnificent land of natural beauty and history. It encompasses 300,000 square miles and is larger than any country in Europe except the former Soviet Union. It currently has a population of 66 million people and a wonderful spectrum of big game animals. Turkey is surrounded by seas to the north, west and south and borders with Georgia, Armenia, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Greece and Bulgaria.

Turkey is part Europe and mostly Asia whose hospitable climate enables a variety of big game to thrive. Red Deer, Fallow Deer, Roe Deer, Persian Ibex (Bezoar Goat), Asian Chamois, Armenian Sheep, Goitered Gazelle, Wild Boar , Asian Brown Bear and Wolf are the native species of Turkey. Currently Persian Ibex ( Bezoar Goat) ,Wild Boar and Wolf are the only big game species available to foreign hunters. AY-FI Safaris is owned and operated by Gunhan Aktan, a native of Turkey who makes his hunting guests his number one priority. Gunhan, an avid hunter himself, goes the extra mile to ensure that his hunting guests have the best possible chance to get a trophy. AY-FI Safaris operates hunts for the highly prized Persian Ibex in the Taurus Mountain range, located in the south of Turkey. Of all the areas open to hunting, the Taurus Mountains offer the best chance of getting a really good Ibex trophy. Ay-FI Safaris is fully licensed and certified to operate hunts in Turkey.
