What is RCBS.Load?
RCBS.Load is Microsoft Windows® software for the handloading and hunting community. RCBS.Load implements: a database manager for a very large handload and factory load performance database; a graph utility which allows visualization of any data from that database, with filters, slicing and zooming; a Kinetic Energy Calculator, a very sophisticated External Ballistics Calculator; a utility to automate the addition of user load data to the database; a cartridge drawing utility ; a cartridge designer utility for the wildcatters; a Ballistic Coefficient Calculator , and various other useful technical charts and tables .

This sophisticated program combines the latest technology in trajectory analysis with an incredible database manager.

Bullet trajectories -- up to ten at a time -- can be viewed on a graph. And you can choose from a list of 1515 component bullets plus a catalog of over 1400 factory loads. You can specify the initial firing conditions, change the environmental conditions and readily determine maximum point-blank range in three dimensions.

As a database manager, RCBS.LOAD sets new standards. Data can be viewed as text, graphed for visual analysis, and sorted and filtered for detail. Includes free electronic versions of 9 industry's reloading manuals: the latest Speer Reloading Manual #13, the RCBS Cast Bullet Manual, and several American and international data manuals. Also included is an index of data sources, showing where to find loads for over 750 standard and wildcat cartridges. With RCBS.LOAD, you build your own reloading databases that can be analyzed like the industry sources.

RCBS.LOAD now comes with an exciting Cartridge Designer feature. Starting with a parent cartridge, you can change the dimensions and see the case capacity for your wildcat cartridge recalculate automatically. There's a handy Ballistic Coefficient Calculator in case your bullet isn't in the massive bullet database. The latest version 2.88c has the "Import Chronograph Data" tool which allows the user to build data files by retrieving automatically chronograph stored data from the "Shooting Chrony" models Beta and Gamma. Other useful references include a kinetic energy calculator, minimum twist rate chart, pressure assignments list, metric equivalents, powder burning rate chart, and a database of dimensioned drawings for over 330 cartridges.
